RidicFaved: Are Spanx Dangerous?

From professional sources, it has been determined that the popular body shaping  undergarment Spanx can cause serious health issues in women who wear them. Two doctors, Dr. John Kuemmerle and Dr. Karen Erickson, have provided life changing statements to the press.

Based on the studies of Dr. John Kuemmerle, he has determined that the Spanx shapewear can assist in the development of acid reflux, heartburn, tingling in legs, blood clots, and restricts breathing because the garment is tight around the stomach, intestines, and colon.

Dr. Karen says, "Shapewear is not a substitute for having strong muscles. It’s important to develop muscle tone, because it’s those muscles that hold your posture in perfect alignment. Many people use shapewear as a crutch to avoid using those muscles."

So if you want to continue wearing Spanx don't do so lazily. Every night before you take a shower do several crunches to help build muscles or a few jumping jacks to give your body some adrenaline to keep your blood moving.

If you want to exclude Spanx from your wardrobe all together, that's fine too!
