ManMade: Prada-Type - Fall 2014 Menswear

Every season Prada leaves me speechless when it comes to their menswear line because of their never ending use of colors, prints, materials, and differential tailoring for men. They also take my breath away with their movie inspired runway shows but this Fall 2014 season runway show was quite different.

Being that Muccia took the motion picture approach for her last few shows, it can be said that the Fall 2014 show took a turn towards the theatrical side of things.

During the show, the stage was transformed so that on both sides of the runway there were orchestra pits. In the pits were instrumentalists of the L'Usignolo woodwind concert group playing against the metal rock of a band called Rammstein achieving the avant-garde tone Muccia was conquering.

The clothing, the most important part, featured trousers, blazers, shawl collars, scoop neck tees, and  protective quilted breastplates.

Style.com describes the collection as "a finely woven web of reference and allusion."

Let's take a look at more of the Fall 2014 Prada Menswear collection below.
