When you study architecture but turn to fashion, what do you get? You get designer Paco Rabanne.
Paco Rabanne opened his own fashion house in 1960 after being a supplier of buttons and jewelry to Givenchy, Dior, and Balenciaga. With his fashion house he sold space-age fashions based off of his space travel and architectural study as he used alternstive and experimental materisls that weren't usually worn on the street.
Other designers that experimented with the space age were Pierre Cardin, André Courregés, Tudi Gernsrich, and Yves Saint Laurent.
