Fashion Fact of the Day: Horst P. - Photographer

A 65 year career doesn't mean fans focus on all of it, they just focus on the best part and with photographer Horst P., the best part included his portraiture of the inter-war years.

At the start of his career he worked with George Hoyringen-Huene  at Vogue which contributed to the development of an unmistakable fashion style that yoked elements of Greek sculpture with elegance of the current time in 1932.

"I liked taking photographs, because I like life," he said.

His work is Madonna "Like A Virgin" approved.

Check out Horst's photography below.

Material Girl is the clothing line that Madonna and her daughter Lola created to represent that cool popular chick with an amazing fashion sense.

“What Material Girl means is just so much more than just a girl, it means confidence, it means belief and inspiration, and freedom to really express yourself. And it’s affordable, which I love.” -Rita Ora

The shoot in which Ora participated in showcased not only her beautiful face, amazing personality, and  the Material Girl line,  but historical sites in London like Big Ben and the Buckingham Palace as well.

After viewing the clothes at the Material Girl website, (www.materialgirl.com), I say to myself  “what better person to represent other than this fly London native with the great music and crazy style?!”
No one of course!

Past faces of the Material Girl line featured Georgia May Jagger, Kelly Osbourne, and  Taylor Momsen.
