Since 1980, when he exposed his first ready-to-wear collection, Alaia has
been catching attention from valuable persons in the fashion industries and
wowing consumers since his debut.
After being off of the scene for eight years since 2003, Alaia presented
his first runway show in Paris Haute Couture week 2011. The pieces were of
course beautiful and featured bell shaped coat dresses, latticed velvet evening
wear, croc-embossed leather jackets and skirts. The show was indubitably
impressive to the attendees being that they applauded for an ample amount of
time after the models flood. Amazing remarks were received from famous guests
such as Kanye West, Donatella Versace, Sofia Coppola, and Naomi Campbell who
happens to be very close with Alaia.

Azzedine Alaia is an amazing influence because of his
