ManMade: Plaidemonium at the 2014 BET Awards

Plaid was the pattern of the night for Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne, ans August Alsina as they all wore plaid button ups while perfroming.

Chris Brown's, as buzzed all over the internet, plaid shirt was said to resemble Gerald's from Hey Arnold, the former popular television show. The shirt is actuall a custom design by fashion stylist and costume designer Seth Chernoff. To complete his outfit Chris wore pieces from H&M (bottoms) Louise Greene (hat), and Nike Air Yeezy's.

August Alsina's plaid shirt was very much more detailed being that it featured fabric giving a paint dripping effect and striped detail on the sleeve. The shirt, which is by Roper, sells for $275 and can be purchased here. His outfit also included sneakers from the Supreme x Comme Des Garcons Shirt x Vans collaboration and Roper white detailed pants.

Lil' Wayne's outfit was almost similar to Chris Browns being that he wore a hat and plaid button up that was waist length. His pieces were from his own label Trukfit including the red plaid Trukfit button shirt, Trukfit boxers, Trukfit sweatshorts, and Trukfit sweatpants during his solo performance. View the photo here.
